I've been working on this project for a couple months now, after several retired game projects I'm feeling determined to complete this one.  I'm a total noob when it comes to game design but I think things are coming together nicely! honestly, I'm incredibly stressed by some irl stuff so this little dark abomination has really become my safe haven.

the graphics I've made so far are hasty and scrappy looking, but I feel it adds to the charm? I don't wanna make any huge stylistic commitments, since that would likely add a year to the development time or something. I don't exactly have the luxury to hire anyone to share the work with either.  Despite my ambitious vision for the project, I'm trying to accept it for the scrappy little thing it's probably going to be. That's why I left my last project 'RESPITE', which I had been working on for like... 5 months maybe? I was being too ambitious. Maybe I'll go back to it someday, but for now, this smaller project is a lot less intimidating.

I'm so proud of what I have so far, but I'm also... dissatisfied.  is it the mood?
